V-Day, Blizzard, a Root Canal, Ian home from school, and a placement. That was my day. I wasn't feeling particularly romantic, in fact, I'm still not. So don't send flowers, actually, do send flowers - cheer me up...but send Carnations, lots of them - which are my favorite - I don't care how inexpensive they are, I like them. No neon dyed in water ones though, not fond of turquoise. Thanks.
Yesterday threw everyone for a loop, no one had a good day - or if they did, they were (very intelligently) quiet about it...between V-Day and the Blizzard it was a classic study in human behavior - People do react in vastly different ways. We've got 1. Okay, it's snowing, let's make today as productive as possible and be safe in the meantime. 2. Huh, it's snowing rather heavily and now turning to ice - my commute home will be horrendous, and damn it, I forgot to put my wipers up. 3. Wow, it's a blizzard and it's V-Day and I think I'll work from home.
And then there's me, Let's come in early, leave for a root canal which turned into a tooth pulling (last tooth, top row - I'm good) and only eat jello incident, and back to the office for drug induced half hour, before realizing everyone was going home anyway, and thus driving home to work the rest of my day on my new 2GB computer which is faster anyway. I think I'm a workaholic. Something to ponder on a day when my head feels less like it was hit by a train.
